About me...

My name is Leonie and I have been an educator for 40+ years. Initially a primary school teacher, then teacher librarian, I have taught in both primary and secondary schools in the public and private sector in Western Australia.
During my career I have been a curriculum consultant, online course developer, library consultant and ICT Project Manager for the Western Australian Education Department.
Inquiry Learning has always been central to the work I do and with the introduction of digital technologies as a platform and mechanism for transformational learning I have focused my efforts in the past few years on exploring the affordances of a range of technologies to disrupt and challenge the way we deliver curriculum and inspire children to become self-directed learners.
Developing digital resources to support teachers and students has also been a key focus for the past 8 years. Studyvibe was the first in a series or web resources I have developed. Others include:
