You have probably seen these funny looking codes in shops, on posters, at the end of bays in the school library and on many websites. So here are answers to some of the questions you may have about them.
What does QR stand for? It stands for Quick Response and refers to a scannable barcode-like picture the shape of a square that has black splotches instead of lines.
What do you do with a QR Code? When you see one of these codes you use you mobile device (it must have a camera, QR Code Reader App and internet access) to scan the code. Once you scan it, the code will point your mobile device to a web-based location. There may be images, videos, and documents at this internet location.
