What does it mean to be motivated?
It means taking action to achieve a certain goal or outcome.
We are all motivated to do different things.
It is more difficult to motivate yourself when it is something you do not like doing.
This is where extrinsic motivation may be needed – where the motivation comes from outside of yourself. This may be a parent, teacher, rewards, fear of failure, etc.
For many, doing schoolwork, study, homework or exams may be a struggle. Would you like to turn study into a positive experience? Would you like study, revision, research and exams to be enjoyable rather than a chore?
Look for tools or people who can help to motivate you in areas you struggle with OR you can tap into that inner (intrinsic) motivation and use it to achieve the goals that come les easily.
