Wellness Tip of the Week

Stress and depression are becoming more prevalent in society today and it is not just adults who it affects. Stress in younger students is also becoming a concern. There are many causes and many ways that it can affect individuals but it definitely can affect academic performance as the pressure of school increases through the years at school.

Many books and programs are available to students, teachers, parents and schools to help  develop coping and resilience skills and the one we want to feature this week is a free online course which has been developed by St Vincent's Hospital in conjunction with the University of NSW  and Clinical Research Unit for Anxiety and Depression (CRUfAD). 

​The course is called Coping with Stress and it is one of suite of online courses on the This Way Up website.
